[28744] Roma is daughter of the late David R. Zimmerman and Beulah T. Kline. Her obituary in The Daily Item 2 Sept 2008 states "Roma attended Paxtonville School and Middleburg High School. She retired in 1986 from Middleburg Sportswear after 40 years of working in area garment factories. Roma was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, Middleburg. She was a great homemaker and a wonderful cook and baker. She made the best homemade candy. She enjoyed doing crafts and traveling. Roma's family was everything to her. She loved people and was always giving. She served as a caregiver for her husband and mother for many years. Surviving are six daughters and three sons-in-law, Lena and George Weigel, Margaret Steimling, Sara Harner and Bonnie and Greg Kuhns, all of Middleburg, and Patricia Troutman and Edna and Frank DeFranco, all of Selinsgrove; three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Inez Gross of Middleburg, William and Shirley Gross of Allentown and Robert and Terry Gross of Richfield; 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Krakowski of Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg; and four sisters-in-law, Helen Zimmerman of Harrisburg, Lucille and Joann Zimmerman, both of Paxtonville, and Helen Zimmerman of Delaware. Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were four sons-in-law; three grandchildren; one sister, Edna Brenizer; and five brothers, Raymond, Jack, Bob, David and Bud Zimmerman."
