[31608] See "Pioneers of Massachusetts - 1620-1650," Charles Henry Pope (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2013), p. 131. Find A Grave Memorial 36859591 offers: "Born about 1599 (aged 36 in 1635 [Hotten 108]; deposed about 4 April 1660 "aged sixty years;" deposed 25 June 1661 "60 years or thereabouts;" d. 27 November 1685 aged "about 86"). Died in Charlestown 27 November 1685 "about 86" or 28 November 1685 (from inventory). (By 4 November 1685, Barnabas Davis could no longer sign his name, or even make his mark, and wife Patience made her mark rather than sign, although they must have been deemed mentally competent to alienate land on that date.) Married in Tewksbury, Gloucester, 1 July 1628 Patience James. She was baptized at Tewksbury 20 October 1603, daughter of John and Elizabeth James, and died at Charlestown 15 November 1690, aged 87 years. On 13 July 1635, "Barnabie Davies," aged 36, was enrolled at London for passage to New England on the Blessing. (Immediately following his name was that of "Suzan Daves" or "Danes," aged 16. It has been suggested that she was a relative, for which see her sketch.) Barnabas Davis made several Atlantic crossings between 1635 and 1640 in the employ of the brothers William and John Woodcock. This business arrangement resulted in a lengthy legal entanglement, which provides us what information we have on this period of the life of Barnabas Davis."

[47247] Find A Grave memorial 75551619 offers Muriel's obituary: "Wwinter Park, Fla. - Muriel Francis (Walker) Wardwell Dubuc, of Winter Park, formerly of Skowhegan, Maine, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2011, of an aortic aneurysm. Daughter of Charles William and Eva Effie (LaCasce) Walker, Muriel Frances (Mim) was born July 22, 1913, in Skowhegan. After graduating from high school at 16, Mim attended Colby College and graduated, Phi Beta Kappa, in 1934. She eventually went on to receive a master's degree from the Universtity of Chicago. Upon graduation from Colby, Mim began a career as an English teacher. In 1938, she married Forrest H. Wardwell from Castine, but was widowed only two years later. Shortly thereafter, Mim enlisted in the Coast Guard, where she served as a recruiter. While stationed in Hawaii, she met Joseph Alfred Dubuc, an Army man; they married in 1945. She remained in the Coast Guard Reserves (though called back to active duty during the Korean War), eventually retiring as a commander. Upon Al's retirement in 1966, they moved back to her home town of Skowhegan. Mim continued teaching (in Madison and Skowhegan) for a number of years. Besides her husband of 58 years, J. Alfred Dubuc, Mim was preceded in death by an older sister, Thetis, who died just a few days after her birth; a brother, William Norman Walker; and a sister, Lois Walker Richmond. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Sabra Chebby, William N. Walker Jr., Ellen Richmond, Benson Walker, Martha Walker Barradas, and Matthew Walker, as well as several great-nieces and -nephews. A service will be held at The Mayflower in Winter Park. Burial will be at a later date at the Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. (Morning Sentinel 8/27/2011)"
