"Bangor Daily News [ Bangor, Maine]," 28 December 2022: "Belfast - Ervin E. Merry, 95, passed away on December 24, 2022, at Tall Pines. He was born in Belfast on October 14, 1927, to John Sr. and Sadie (Dyer) Merry. He married Faustina L. Thompson of Swanville on April 25, 1951. Ervin left this old world for a better place with his wife by his side. He is now home with his Lord and Saviour. He loved getting right down on the floor playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ervin was always quite a jokester and loved his sweets - especially Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Moxie. Until his last days, he could be heard praying and singing hymns.
Ervin, also lovingly known as Dad and Papa, had many different jobs throughout his long life. He loved working for himself. In the early years, he raised many thousands of chickens with his dad and bought and sold various goods and antiques until 5 years ago when he developed dementia. Ervin is survived by his wife, Faustina; his children, Judy M. and Gary Arsenault of Plymouth, Jeffrey E. Merry and Shirley of Searsport and Valerie J. and Vernon Nickerson of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Katie and Mike Lee, Matthew and Ashley Jackson, and Brandi and Sadie Nickerson; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Earl, John Jr., and Elwood; and sisters, Marie Opdahl, Ina Moulton, Mildred Sylvester, and Ruthie Robbins."

[33497] Sarah is daughter of Benjamin Standley and Phoebe Stone.
[34082] She is from the unverified Holzhauser Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2012 but may well be Adam's MOTHER instead of wife, and thus duplicated here. Ancestry.com offers: "Stone Name Meaning - English: from Old English stan 'stone', in any of several uses. It is most commonly a topographic name, for someone who lived either on stony ground or by a notable outcrop of rock or a stone boundary-marker or monument, but it is also found as a metonymic occupational name for someone who worked in stone, a mason or stonecutter. There are various places in southern and western England named with this word, for example in Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Kent, Somerset, Staffordshire, and Worcestershire, and the surname may also be a habitational name from any of these."
