[1139] John was baptised at Henlow, England; he died 1620/21 during the first winter at Plymouth; came on the Mayflower with wife Joan Hurst, also of Henlow. "The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England, 1620-1633"( Boston: NEHGS, 1995, Vol. 2, p. 1822 reports "John Tilley joined the expedition of 6 December 1620 along the coast with nine others, under the leadership of Miles Standish."
