He married Ihme Agnes Mogasen on April 29, 1684, in Pfaffenhofen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He then married Agnes Maria Knoller and they had seven children together. He died on November 12, 1720, in Pfaffenhofen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, at the age of 53."

She will be greatly missed by her daughter in law, Mary Anne of Mapleton, her sons and thier wives, Blake and Rose, Maynard and Joyce of Mapleton and Florida, daughter, Cheryl and husband, Charles Nickerson of Leesburg, FLA., sons, Brian and Pam of Mapleton and David and Pam of Etna, grandchildren, Bruce, Brent, Kimberly, Barry, Tyler, Kathleen, Greg, Jeff, Barbara, Blaine, Bradley, Randy, Debbie, Jennifer, Carrie, Brian Jr., Austin, Aubrey, Emily, Danielle and Susan, 35 great grandchldren. She is also survived by a brother in law, Rodney Pelkey and a sister in law, Bessie Robichaud and many nieces and nephews.
