"The Sabetha Republican-Herald [Sabetha, Kansas], 30 May 1907," p. 8: "Ezra J. Beeghly was born near Accident, Garrett county, Maryland July 19, 1847. He was married to Delilah Coleman March 3, 1868. To this union ten children were born, Mrs. Ada Mishler of Sabetha, Kansas, William M. Beeghly of Hill City Kansas, Mrs. Mary E. Snyder of Wisner, Nebraska, Milton J. Beeghly of Industry, Kansas, Josiah E. Beeghly of Abilene, Kansas, Mrs. Emma Marmet of Sabelha, Kansas, Harvey Beeghly of Talmage, Kansas, Miss Nellie Beeghly of Abilene, Kansas, Calvin Arthur Beeghly who died February 3, 1894 and Norman R. Beeghly of Abilene, Kansas. Besides his immediate family he leaves two brothers M. J. Beeghly of Sabetha, Kansas and J. J. Beeghly of Rosedale, North Dakota, and five sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Hostettler of Garrett county Maryland, Mrs. Abbie Sperline, Mrs. Lydia Barnes and Mrs. Rachel Root of Sabetha, Kansas and Mrs. Sarah Miller of Beattie, Kansas who deeply mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband, father and brother. The deceased lived in Cove, Garrett county Maryland until April 1, 1872 when he moved with his family to Somerset, Pennsylvania. Then he moved to Falls City, Nebraska April 5, 1876, from there he moved three miles south of Sabetha March 1, 1878. From here he moved seven miles north of Sabetha, April 5, 1881 and lived here fourteen years moving two miles north of Sabetha in 1895. Eight years later he moved to Abilene, Kansas where be resided at the time of his death. He joined the Brethren church April 1869 and remained an active worker all the remainder of his life. He was a deacon for many years, an active Sunday school worker and was superintendent for a number of years. He suffered uncomplainingly for almost a year with sciatic rheumatism and kidney disease, and fell peacefully to sleep about four o'clock Saturday, May 25, 1907. A few days before his death be asked those present to sing and when aaked If he bad any song he would like to have sung, called for 'Pass me not Oh Gentle Saviour' and be sang it through with the rest In a clear unfaltering voice."
Ezra Jay was the eldest of nine children of Josiah Beeghly and Sarah Horner.

[24419] Her obituary in The Monticello (FL) News 8 Sept 1961 states that she died at age 63 and was survived by a son, William of East Lake Weir, and a daughter, Mrs. Danny Sarvis of Miami. She taught second and third grades in the Wacissa and Monticello schools for 28 years, etiring in 1956. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church, Monticello and a member of the Jefferson County Democratic Executive Committee. In 1960 she and husband William were named "Farm Family of the Year" in Jefferson County - they r. E. Washington St. in Monticello, FL. The unverified IGI file states that Eulee is daughter of Benjamin E. Boulware and Isadore Smith.

Rohenstin, for years an Akron employe of the Kelly-Springfield Rubber Co., when that concern maintained a plant here, is to be brought to Akron for burial and services will be held Friday afternoon at E. Market St. Reformed church. Robenstine died In Cumberland, Md., Wednesday. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary Robenstine, his parents, two brothers, Newton and Walter, both of Mogadore, and three brothers and four sisters in Akron.
