[47147] "Shamokin News-Dispatch, 11 June 1925," p. 2: "Henry Milton Tschopp, a former local hotel man, but for the past eight years located at Lewistown, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Lubnow, 943 West Walnut street, at, 4:15 o'clock this morning of a complication of diseases, after an illness of about six weeks. Mr. Tschopp who had been employed as a special officer for the Standard Steel company at Lewistown, was was stricken ill at that place on May 1. He failed to receive relief through medical treatment there and came to the home of his sister here in the hope that the change would prove beneficial. However, his condition continued to grow steadily worse until death occurred this morning. The deceased was born at Gratz, Dauphin county, 59 years ago, having been a son of George and Magdrline (Schoffstall) Tschopp. He came to Shamokin when a boy and had resided here for a period of 38 years, following the occupation of a mining man in early life and later conducted a hotel in Coal township. Eight years ago he removed to Lewistown. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Paul Haine of Hershey and Mrs. John Lubnow of this city, and one brother, George of Gratz.
