The Rev. C. D. Wentworth officiated. Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by six sons, S-Sgt. Merritt Archer Fort Bragg, N.C., William of Waterbury, Conn., Wallace, Merle, Donald and Freeman of Presque Isle; four daughters, Edna, Mrs. Carl Hoyt, Belmont, Mass., Anna, Mrs. Willis Tompkins of this city, and Shirley and Clara, at home; and one sister, Mrs. Guy Hall of Farmington." Mabel is daughter of Edwin J. Brymer and Catherine Edith Weeks. She and Bertram had Merritt Leroy Archer (1910-2003), Charles Merle Archer (1914-2002), Wallace F.
