[54119] Earnestine is daughter of Ernest William Heanssler (1897-1964) & Vera Evelyn Sprague (1904-1991; m. 4 June 1921 in Stonington, Hancock Co., ME). "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 12 May 2008: "Deer Isle - Ernestine Eaton, 86, passed peacefully May 10, 2008, at Island Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 4, 1922, in Deer Isle, the daughter of Ernest and Vera Sprague Heanssler of Sunshine. She graduated from Deer Isle High School and Bangor School of Beauty Culture. She worked as a beautician in Boston and New York City, as well as opening her own Beauty Shop at her home in Sunshine. Ernestine was a long time member of Sunshine Advent Christian Church, where she served as deaconess. Her passion was mission work. She served as president of both her local and state Mission Societies for many years. Ernestine shared 47 years in marriage with her childhood sweetheart, Eugene H. Eaton of Sunshine, who died in 1990. In addition to her husband and parents, Ernestine was predeceased by a brother, Clifford Heanssler; and a daughter, Joan Elaine. Family members she leaves behind include Wilbur MacDonald and wife, Carolyn; brother-in-law, Minot Eaton; sister-in-law, Mary Heanssler; daughter, Faye Rey-nard and husband, Phil, of Bridgton; and son, James E. Eaton and wife, Marianne, of Sunshine. Her grandchildren include Angela and Russ Stibitz, Traci and Kevin Van Brunt, Jennifer and Ryan Larribee, Christine Eaton and Peter and Michelle Eaton. Her great-grandchildren include Tucker, Abigail and Owen Van Brunt and Skyler and Jacob Larribee. She also leaves behind several nephews and nieces, and a loving church family. A funeral service will be celebrated 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Sunshine Advent Christian Church, Stonington."

He was born and lived his life in Akron, and was a member of High Street Christian Church over 50 years, Star Lodge 187 F&AM, Cuyahoga Falls Chapter 225 R.A.M., Akron Commandery 25 KT, Tadmor Shrine, and Royal Order of Jesters Court 80. He retired in January 1966 with 38 years service from Goodyear Tire & Rubber, where he was the manager of conveyor belting. Mr. Ritzman is survived by wife, Ethel; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Kenneth Dutro of Kent; granddaughters, kalle Dutro of Kent, Mrs. Jeffrey (Kenda) Kline of Munroe Falls; aunt, Mrs. Carrie Krumroy of Tallmadge."
