Freed, 76, who died at his home west of McVeytown Wednesday, were held this afternoon in the Booth funeral home, McVeytown. Interment followed in Cedar Hill cemetery, Beavertown. Mr. Freed was born jyiarcn March 31, 1876, at Beavertown, a son of the late Nathan and Susan Snook Freed. His wife, Margaret Jane Middlesworth, died June 24, 1946. Survivors include eight children; a brother, Alfred, and a sister, Mrs. Verdi Dreese, of Beavertown."

Mrs. Henry was born in Ashland County, Ohio March 7, 1847. She was united in marriage to Calvin Henry September 3, 1867, she and her husband coming to Missouri soon after their marriage, locating near Tipton, where they remained continuously, Mr Henry preceding her in death 32 years. Here Mrs Henry grew from young womanhood to old age, formed friendships with her associates who come to knew and admire her for her good citizenship, Christian character, kindly deeds and loving kindness, as wife, mother and friend - in all, a good woman. The following children survive her: Mrs. J. N. Woods, of near Versailles; Mrs. F. B. Vanderhoof and Mrs Emmett Fry of Tipton; Messrs. C. D. and A. G. of Tipton; John of Fortuna, and J. C. and W. C. Henry of near Latham."
