Brian Tomsett's Directory of Genealogical data (http://www.dcs.hull.ac.uk/public/genealogy/royal/) gives a different version: Ramiro, son of Vermundo (Vermundo = brother of Aurelio), son of Fruela (of Cantabria, not the Fruela of Astgurias son of Ermesinda), son of Pedro of Cantabria. My database does not show a parent for Alfonso I (The Catholic) of Asturias; Brian's does: Pedro of Cantabria. But Brian's Alfonso's descendants (therefore Ermesinda's, therefore Pelayo's) run into dead ends: Alfonso the Chaste (son of Fruela of Asturias), Vimerana (-- my Vimeranus spouse of Aurelius???), no spouse, no children, and Adosinda m. Silon but no children. See another genealogical chart for this family at http://homepage.esoterica.pt/~edvasc/medieval/gen5.html "A History of Spain and Portugal, Vol. 1," Staley G. Paine (Madison: The U. of Wisc. Press, 1973), p. 32, provides this list of "Rulers of Asturias-Leon:"

Fafila 737-739
Alfonsi I 793-757
Fruela I 757-768

[18701] "The Chillicothe Constution-Tribune, 21 August 1918," p. 9: "J. D. Linville, a native of Livingston county, died at the Chillicothe hospital Tuesday night at 9:10 o'clock following an illness of a month. The body was removed to the Mohrs undertaking parlors where it was prepared for burial and will be held until taken to the Linville home, southwest of Avalon. Jefferson Davis Linville was born on the old Linville farm north of Chillicothe, August 10. 1861, being 57 years and 10 days old at the time of his death. Early In life he was a teacher In the Livingston county school which occupation he followed until his marriage to Miss Ruth Reeves, a Livingston county girl, on March 4, 1886. Immediately following their marriage they moved to a farm southwest of Avalon, where he had since resided. He had lived in the county his entire life. Besides the widow, four children, three sonsJ. C. Linville, Omaha, H. G. Linville, Bedford, Irl Linville, Camp Funston, and one daughter, Miss Ruth Linville, a teacher in the Chillicothe schools, survive. He also has four grandsons, Justin Wayne Linville, Ray Lawrence Linville, Ralph Bldon Linville and Howard Wilson Linville."
[30148] A pdf file in jorandby.net/genealog presents much information on Gustav and his descendants, and offers: "The surname Slora comes from the Slora Mill (Slora Mølle) in the Blaker local parish in the Sørum commune of the Norwegian county Akershus. . . . Gustav's wife Anna and their children -- who all emigrated in 1882 and 1886 -- appear in the 1865 Norwegian census when they were living on the Slora Gard (farm). Note the word "Kværn" in the census table below. (Our English word "quern" is cognate; it denotes a primitive hand-driven stone mill. Strictly speaking, the bottom stationary stone is the quern while the mobile stone is the handstone. In Adams County, Wisconsin, Olea Jorandby, Rosanna (Jorandby) Slorahn's aunt, married Gunnerius Embretsen Bjørnebyqvern, which means that the farm his family came from in Solør in Norway had a mill on it, and they were the millers. In America they dropped the "qvern" and used the name Bjorneby.)" See http://www.sorum.kommune.no and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akershus.
