[20278] "Goodland Republic [Goodland, Kansas], 24 March 1921," p. 1: "Magnolia Harrington, daughter of David and Polly Harrington, was born at Princeton, Missouri January 14, 1877 and died at her home in Goodland, Kansas, March 19, 1921, aged 44 years, 2 months and 5 days. When a child she moved with her parents to Franklin county, Nebraska, and from there to Sherman county, Kansas, where she grew to womanhood. She was converted when a child and united with the Methodist church of which she remained a faithful member. Her greatest joy was in the loving service she could render for her loved ones and in doing some good deed for her neighbors. July 22, 1892 she was united in marriage to C. M. Harding and to this union 14 children were born, one dying in infancy, and of the 13 children living she leaves a little baby two weeks of age. She wanted to live and be with her family a little longer and she strove hard agamst the hour of parting. Her loved ones felt that her hour was not yet come and every effort was made to save her life. But, weary and worn, she fell asleep, her earthly toils are ended and mother dear is crowned at last. Besides her family she leaves an aged mother, 4 brothers, Ed Harrington of Fowler, Colorado; Fred Harrington of Brandom, Colorado, William Harrington of St. Francis, Kansas, Harry Harrington of Parsons, Kansas, other relatives and many friends to mourn her death. Services were conducted in the home Sunday at 3:00 p, m. by M. R. Starbuck, and interment was made in the Goodland cemetery."

[37251] Find A Grave memorial 131315493 reports: " Lettice was born at Ingon Manor in Warwickshire, England. Her parents were Henry and Margaret Shakespear. She was baptised at St. Mary and St. Bartholomew Church in Hampton-in-Arden on June 4, 1583. Lettice was the first wife of John Drake. They were married on June 25, 1616 in Hampton-in-Arden. There are several baptism records for children born to John Drake and his wife Lettice between 1616 and 1622. Lettice died in Hampton-in-Arden in November, 1623, and was buried in the churchyard of St. Mary and St. Bartholomew on November 10. John must have remarried, because in 1625, there is a record of a child born to John Drake and Elizabeth . . . "
