[27269] http://scituatehistoricalsociety.org/early-scituate-families offers: "Eglin (Hatherly) Hanford/Handford, widow, born in Devonshire, was Timothy Hatherlys sister. She was 46 years of age when she left London for New England 10 Apr 1635 with two of her daughters - Margaret Hanford, age 16 and Elizabeth Hanford, 14. Hatherlys deed to Eglin dated 24 Feb 1640 reads 'This land [five acres] was given to Egline Hanford the xxvith day of Septembr in the yeare AD1634.' The description continues: 'bounded on the east end by the common path that runneth from the brooke to the harbours mouth... on the north by Gowin White; on the west with a common drift path or lane that runneth almost north and south... on the south by land of Richard Sealis.' (PCLR 1:71) Hatherly described it as the third lot north of the stony brook. Eglin Hanford married Richard Sealis in 1637." In 2015 http://aleph0.clarku.edu/~djoyce/gen/report/rr01/rr01_236.html offers: "Eglin Hatherly. Born ca 1586 in Winkleigh, Devon. Eglin was baptized in Winkleigh, Devon, on 8 Jun 1586.16 Eglin died in 1666. Eglin, or Elgin, or Eylin, Hatherly. She first married a Mr. Downe, second Jeffrey Hanford, and third Richard Sillis as his third wife. Eglin, after the death of Edward, came to Scituate to join her brother, Timothy Hatherley, and her eldest daughter Lettice, who had come on an earlier date, and had been married to Edward Foster two days before her mother sailed from England. Elgin, aged 46, sailed on 10 Apr 1635 in the ship Planter, arriving in Boston 7 Jun 1635 with her two youngest daughters, Margaret Hanford, aged 16, and Elizabeth Hanford, aged 14. Also in this ship came Rodolphus Elms, Sarah Pitney and family, and Thomas Savage."

Mary's place of burial has been questioned.
This note is associated with Mary in familysearch.org:
Had 5 children. She apparently had great difficulty in conducting the affairs of her household and repeatedly beseeched her mother to send her "a good and lusty servant". On Apr. 28, 1636 she wrote, "I am forced to crave your help as speedily as maybe, my mayde being to goe away upon Mayday and I am likely to be altogether destitute. I cannot get her to staye a monthe longer...My husband is willing to stand what you shall think meet to give...I desire that the mayde you provide me may be one that hath been used to all kinds of work and must refuse none. If she have skill in the dayrie I shall be the gladder". When a 'mayde' was secured and sent down, however, she proved to be not at all the treasure desired though "at her first coming she carried herself dutifully as became a servant. But since through mine and my husband's forbearance toward her for small faults she has got such a head, and is growen soe insolent that her carriage toward us, especially myselfe, is insufferable. If I bid her doe a thing she will bid me doe it myselfe, and she says she can give content as well as any servant but she will not and says if I love not quietness I was never so fitted in my life for she would make me have enough of it...If I tell my husband of her behavior to me upon examination shee will denie all that she has done and spoken so that we know not how to proceed against her". (Social Life in Old New England, Crawford)
