She was born in Augusta on Jan. 29, 1930, the daughter of Hugh and Theo (Mooers) Blair. Vivian graduated from Cony High School in the class of 1948. She was employed by the state of Maine in the Department of Motor Vehicle from the 1950s until 1972. In 1972, Vivian moved to Penobscot where she and her husband, Alton Farnham, operated Farnham's Equipment Company for many years. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Alton S. Farnham, and a son, Anthony 'Tony' McGlauflin. She is survived by a son, David McGlauflin, of Irmo, S.C. and four grandchildren, Gwendalyn B. Benoit of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Maricel T., Anthony C., and Christian D. McGlauflin, all of Irmo."
