She was the daughter of Shelton and Adlean (Strout) Jordan. She was born on May 30, 1917. She graduated from Prospect Harbor Grammar School and also attended Winter Harbor High School. During WWII, she moved to Connecticut where she worked at International Silver Co. in Wallingford and also General Motors New Departure. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 744 of Addison. She graduated from Eastern Academy of Beauty Culture of Bangor. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts. She is survived by two sons, Arthur Harrington Jr. and wife, Lena, and three children, David, Kathleen, and Stephen of Virginia Beach, Va.; Mark Ginn and wife, Kathy and three daughters, Christine, Michelle, and Melissa of Eastbrook; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, one special nephew, Danny Mitchell and wife, Charlotte, of Gouldsboro. She was predeceased by her husband, Horace; four brothers, Lawrence, Carlton, Oswald and Donald; three sisters, Verna, Gladys and Myrtle."
