Born on April 23, 1938, in Winter Harbor, to Robert and Nina Conners. A retired truck driver, he was married to Rose Delaney Conners of Winter Harbor. He had three daughters, Karen Porter, Whitinsville, Mass., Stacey Conners, Uxbridge, Mass., Debora Conners, Santan Valley, Ariz.; five grandsons and one granddaughter; also four stepchildren, and nine step-grandchildren. He was loved by family and friends. Gerald served in the Navy, and was a deputy in Marion County, Fla. He drove for 27 years for the Marion County crime watch, and also served for six years as a Winter Harbor selectman. He was a proud and loving man who will be missed."
