Baltozer, 80 years old, retired employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad, died this morning at his home, 2144 North Seventh street, after a long illness. Surviving him are two sons, G. A, Baltozer, of 63S Peffer street, and E. R. Baltozer, of Balboa, Panama; one brother, S. L. Baltozer, of Mifflin, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home on Wednesday morning: at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Charles A. Snavely, pastor of the Otterbein United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery at Newport."

"The Akron Beacon Journal [Akron, Ohio], 13 November 1937," p. 19: "Isaac Heckman, 79, a retired farmer, died Saturday at his home, 488 Wirth av. He leaves a son, Charles L., grandson, Lloyd, a great granddaughter, Janis Lou, of Akron, a brother, John Heckman and a sister, Mrs. Minerva Graybill, both of Uniontown."
[46370] Jonas farmed near Loyal Oak in Summit Co., OH. His ancestry and information are in "History of Summit County . . . ," William Henry Perrin (Chicago: Baskin & Battey, 1881), p. 972. "Centennial History of Summit County, Ohio and Representative Citizens (Chicago: Biographical Publishing Co., 1908), p. 484: "Jonas Franklin Miller was a boy of eight or ten years when he made the trip from Pennsylvania with his parents, and he was reared on his father's farm, experiencing all the hardships of pioneer life. Throughout his entire active period, Mr. Miller was a hard-working, industrious citizen, and at the time of his death had accumulated a fortune estimated at $20,000, most of which was invested in land in Norton Township, Barberton and Loyal Oak. His death occurred at Loyal Oak, Ohio, Feb. 1, 1907. Mr. Miller married Marietta Slaughback, who was born at Northampton County, Pennsylvania, and who still survives, her home being at Loyal Oak. Nine children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Miller, namely: Uriah Augustus; Alice, who became the wife of H. F. Myres; Milton H.; Ida, who is deceased; Harry E.; John G.; Ella, who married James Harter; Ellsworth, deceased; and Elizabeth, who married Charles Gable." - this source states Jonas is brother of Mrs. J. [13758] "The Daily Item, 29 August 1967," p. 11: "Frank Clifford Stroh. 316 N Twelfth St., Sunbury, died this morning at 3 o'clock in Community Hospital, Sunbury, where he entered August 23. He was 83 years, of age. The late Mr. Stroh was born in Sunbury, February 8, 1884, the son of John William Stroh, well-known blacksmith and Sunbury Fire Chief, and Frances Maria Leitzel Stroh, a native of Schuylkill Haven. Mr. Stroh was graduated from Sunbury High School in the class of 1901 and attended Keller's Business College in Lewisburg for a year, after which he spent several years in Berwick as a stenographer for the American Car and Foundry Co. His association with local banks began with his return to Sunbury as a teller in the First National Bank, then at Front and Market Sts.. later in the old Y.M.C.A building. When the North Branch Title and Trust Company was organized, Mr. Stroh was appointed cashier, and served in that position until about 1925, when he resigned and, after a brief period with the Lewisburg Trust and Safe Deposit Company, opened an office in Sunbury as a public accountant. His brother, the late Raymond Weiser Stroh, joined him about 1940: Among their clients were many local business firms, and both Bucknell University and Susquehanna University. They practiced actively until the early 1950's; by 1958 declining health had forced both partners into virtual retirement. In his youth Frank Stroh was an enthusiastic horseback rider, and made two or three trips of several hundred miles each through eastern Pennsylvania including one to Philadelphia. Later, in the 1930's, he became interested in the then newly marketed amateur movie cameras, and he pursued this hobby energetically for a number of years. Many area residents will recall seeing his striking films of the 1936 flood. In 1917 Mr. Stroh married Grace Viola Seiler of Shamokin. They had two children, a daughter Ruth, who died in infancy, and a son, W. Richard Stroh, of Baltimore, who survives. Mrs. Stroh died in 1953. Funeral services will be held from the Shipman Memorial Chapel Friday at 2 p.m. His pastor, Rev. Carl J. Johansson of Zion Lutheran Church, Sunbury, will officiate. Interment -will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Shamokin."
