She was a member of the UMO extension service and the Emmanuel Bible Baptist Church in Plymouth. She is survived by 2 sons, Leon, Jr. 'Gene' and wife Kathy of Bell-Nor, Missouri, John and wife Susan of Dedham; 5 daughters, Wanda and husband Donald Crowell of Malabar, FL, Hazel and husband Rev. Roger Poulin of Waterville, Lois Corey and Gene Cote of Scarborough, Doris and husband Alan Dall of Bangor, Paula and husband Kurt Rockafellow of Plymouth; 3 sisters, Bernice Cousins of Old Town and Southwest Harbor, Beatrice McCleary of Wisconsin, and Lois Gile of Eliot; 13 grandchildren, Troy Corey, Tamara Gonzalez, James Chichetto, Leon "Lee" Kirkpatrick III, Michael and Erik Bellandi, Justin and Ryan Kirkpatrick, Tabatha Caso, Jenn Mahaney, Amber Dall, Garrett and Aaron Rockafellow; and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon E. Kirkpatrick, Sr. on May 5, 2006. Burial will be in the East Dover Cemetery."
