Mary was born in Doylestown, and was a resident of Akron 75 years. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church and its Sanctuary Society. She is survived by sons, Victor and James; daughters, Mrs. Donald (Maxine) Armbruster, all of Akron, Mrs. Frank (Janet) Cox of Baton Rouge, La.; sister, Mrs. Catherine Longstreth of Akron; 23 grandchildren; 49 greatgrandchildren; and nine great-greatgrandchildren. Mary is daughter of Peter Conlon (b. 1852 in Scotland, d. 1906, buried at Doylestown, OH) and wife Elizabeth Nellis (b. 1862 in Scotland, d. 1926, daughter of John Nellis [b. Ayershire, Scotland, son of a Presbyterian minister] and wife Mary Currens) - John Nellis and about 12 others purchased a ship and came to America. The name "John Nellis" is on a grave marker in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Doylestown, Wayne Co., OH. Mary's Social Security death record states she was b. 6 Jan 1890. The 1900 federal census lists her in Peter Conlon's family in Western Star, Wadsworth Twp., Medina Co., OH.
