Mr. Linville was a native of Chillicothe and had lived in Texas and Oklahoma. He was employed in artificial insemination work at the U.T. Ranch, east of Tuttle, having moved there in 1967. Funeral services will be at 2pm Wednesday at the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home with Dr. Earl Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Anderson cemetery. The body will arrive at the Norman Funeral Home late this evening. Mr. Linville was born February 3, 1913, the son of Wiley Lee and Mary Celestia Haynes Linville. He married Thelma Long of Chillicothe July 15, 1939. He was a member of the Olive Branch Baptist church, attended the rural Linville school and moved to Texas from Chillicothe. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Chester Lee Linville, Denver, Colo.; a brother, Fred Linville, Chillicothe; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Mullenix, Chillicothe; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a child, and a brother, Reuben. (Chillicothe Constitution Tribune March 18, 1974)."
