She and Allen Doeschot were married on March 26, 1952 in Lincoln, NE. They lived in Lincoln, NE. and Oakland, NE. before moving to Beatrice, NE. in 1965. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice, NE. and had been a member of the church choir. She was a member of the B.P.O. Does Drove #10 in Beatrice and helped with their BINGO activities. She was a member of the Beatrice Garden Club and the After 5 club. She enjoyed walking, flowers, gardening, reading, crafts and crocheting. Survivors include her son Lyle Doeschot and his wife Cheryl of St. Louis, MO.; 2 daughters Chris Paben and her husband Rick of Beatrice, NE. and Diane Bruns and her husband Larry of Beatrice, NE.; 8 grandchildren, Craig Paben and his wife Kelly, Casey Paben and his wife Darcie, Lacey Miller and her husband Nick, Justin Bruns, Troy Bruns, Drew Doeschot, Brian Doeschot, and Nicholas Doeschot; 3 great grandchildren, Taylor and Blake Paben, and Jackson Miller; brother Valoris Johnson Jr. and his wife Carol of Spirit Lake, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews.
