Phil was always pushing himself academically and despite his illness, pursued a doctorate degree in business administration at Tourou University. In the early days of computers and technology he excelled as the director of technology at Fidelity Investments and later, after getting his MBA, was a Global acquisitions Manager at the Boston Consulting Group. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Ronald and Helena Banks. He is survived by his fiancé; his daughter, Renee Banks; his sisters, Kate, Amy and Nancy Banks; his niece, Jayme Banks; and his nephews, Alex Banks, Peter and Max Mezzomo."
