She was the daughter of Henry A. and Annie (Wardwell) Davis from Penobscot. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Hill and also was a lifelong member and past worthy matron of Blue Hill Chapter No. 182 of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by two sons, Dana Giles and his wife, Betty, and Merrill H. Leach Jr. and his wife, Gail; 11 grandchildren, Glenn Giles and his wife, Gloria, Ann (Leach) Spear and her husband, Joe, Patricia (Leach) Grant and her husband, Tim, Craig Giles, Gary Giles, William Leach and his wife, Patty, Jeffrey Giles and his wife, Kerry Hawkins, Curt Giles and his wife, Sheila, Sarah (Leach) Brooks and her husband, Bliss, Sharon (Giles) Bernier and her husband, Bill, and Jonathan Leach. Beth Gray and her husband, Doug, and Sheila Worden; 11 great-grandchildren, Rob, Craig, Dana Gregory, David, Jamie, Lee, Kim, Rebecca, Kristy and Jodi; Kayla and Derek; three great-great-grandchildren, Brandi, Madison and Gloria. She will also be remembered by a very special niece, Hilda O'Neil, and very special friends. In addition to her husband, Merrill Sr., she was predeceased by one sister, Hazel Carley, and one brother, Lester Davis."
