[16841] Her family name is also seen "Behler". Elizabeth's birth is either 15 or 25 March. The federal census 21 Oct 1850 in North Codorus Twp., York Co., PA lists her as age 52! She is identified in Daughters of the American Revolution membership application for National No. 570440 and is not otherwise verified. This is also the source for their son, Isaac. Robert Nelson (rk-nelson@worldnet.att.net) gives her death as 27 Apr 1876.

Birckel (1716-1738), and gives Andreas' parents as Mathias Kraemer (b. 1692 in Germany, d. 1793 in PA)) and wife Elizabeth (b. 1692 in Germany, d. 1747 in Bethel, Berks Co., PA); this site states Maria Magdalena Birckel was b. 21 Aug 1716 in the Palatinate, Germany and d. 15 Oct 1738 in Pince Grove, PA, daughter of Michael Birkle (1678-1753) and Maria Willmann (1680-1760). He was born at Bar Harbor June 26, 1928, the son of Alfred B., Sr., and Doris (Linscott) Leighton-Fickett. 'Sonny' was a mason by profession and had worked on many projects within Acadia National Park. He was an avid sportsman and thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his mother, Doris Fickett; two daughters, Gloria Leighton and Arlene Leighton; one grandson, Bruce Leighton, Jr. He is survived by his father, Alfred B. Leighton, Sr. of Rockland his stepfather, Ira Fickett of Milbridge; Charlotte L. Leighton of Bar Harbor; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bruce Leighton of Bar Harbor, Kenneth and Elizabeth (Smith) Leighton of Otter Creek; two daughters and a son-in-law, Geneva Leighton and fiance Mike Jones of Penobscot, Patricia (Leighton) and Fred Hibbard of Bar Harbor; many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews."
