A 20-year resident of Sunrise Beach, Mo., Mrs. Megert died Wednesday morning in a Jefferson City, Mo., hospital after a three-week illness. She was 60. Mrs. Megert has lived in Borger and Phillips about 15 years during the 1930-s and 1940's. Mrs. Megert was the sister-in-law of A.S. Megert of Borger and Mrs. Bert Gray of Phillips. Survivors include husband Karl of Sunrise Beach, two sons, mother, two sisters, two brothers, and seven grandchildren. (Published in Borger News Herald, May 5, 1966)"
