[24133] Agnes is listed as a child of William and Sybil in the Cahill Family web site in Ancestry World Tree by Steve Davis (stephenp.davis@hp.com) in 2004 and is not verified. CP Vol I, p. 418 confirms Faris but the CP Corrigenda et Addenda volume, XIV, p. 64, adds that Agnes seems unlikely to have been the daughter of William, Seigneur de Grandison.

[20825] He and his descendants are given on a chart following p. 502b in "The Complete Peerage of England, Scotland, Ireland, Great Britain and the United Kingdom, extant, extinct, or dormant," by George E. Cokayne (London: The St. Catherine Press, Ltd.), 1910-1959, Vol. 9. http://www.thepeerage.com/p76.htm#i751 offers: "Between 1156 and 1166 he was co-founder (along with his brother, Gilbert) of Tupholme Abbey or Prior, Lincolnshire. He held the office of Judge of the Court of Exchequer in 1165. He held the office of Justice of the forest in all England between 1165 and 1177. In 1166 he was excommunicated by St. Thomas à Beckett for supporting King Henry II in his insistence that the clergy were subject to the ordinary law. He was absolved by the Bishop of London on taking an oath that, on his way to Jerusalem, he would visit the Pope and do his bidding."
[45825] This line is from a 2019 unverified family tree in Ancestry.com which states William is son of Walter Deane (1643-1585) and Johanna Walsele (1547-1597).

[5612] St. Elizabeth was married to Louis of Bavaria at age 14. They loved each other and had three children. But her in-laws disliked her for her charity and ridiculed her piety. Each day Elizabeth fed many poor folks at the castle gate. She dressed orphans in warm clothes and purchased fuel for cold homes. She build two infirmaries and spent hours each day caring for the ill. When the beds were full, she once gave up her own bed in the palace to a leper. She wore simple clothes. Elizabeth won the hearts of common folks across Europe. Louis died crusading after they were married six happy years. She was broken-hearted. His family treated her badly and banished her from the palace. In 1228 she joined the Third Order of St. Francis. Her last years were given to caring for the poor in a hospital she founded in honor of Francis. She was canonized four years after her death. Her feast is November 17th.
