[46088] Ref. "Ancestral File," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/2:1:M72M-Y14 : accessed 6 February 2020), entry for Sarah DYER (MSZ4-M4).
[58167] Samuel is said to be son of Ephraim Emerson (b. in 1696) & Elizabeth King (1707-750; m. in 1725 in Dighton, Bristol Co., MA).
[1731] There is considerable doubt about her identity - if Helena or Euphrosine, there is doubt as to whether she is daughter or granddaughter of Matislaw I, and which of his wives (Christina of Sweden or the daughter of Dmitri of Novogrod) is her (grand)mother. The ancestry I show is not provable, but is given in "Ancestral Roots..." (Balt., 1992) 242-9. http://www.thepeerage.com/p11394.htm asserts Geisa II "married Euphrosine of Novgorod, daughter of Mstislav I of Novgorod, Grand Duke of Kiev, in 1146" and cites Jirí Louda and Michael MacLagan, "Lines of Succession: Heraldry of the Royal Families of Europe, 2nd edition" (London, U.K.: Little, Brown and Company, 1999), table 89.
