[10188] "The Akron Beacon Journal [Akron, Ohio], 30 June 1970," p. 2: "Bath Twp. - Services for Richard F. Crosier, 48, of 4005 W. Bath rd., will be at 1 p. m. Wednesday at Billow's Fairlawn chapel. Burial will be in Bath Center cemetery. Mr. Crosier, a truck driver the past 12 years, died Sunday at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, a Toledo suburb, after being stricken with a heart attack. He was a member of the Ghent Christian Church, the Cooley Canal Yacht Club, Curtis, 0., and the Great Lakes Cruising Club. Mr. Crosier also was a member of the Bath Volunteer Fire Dept. Besides his wife Elizabeth, he leaves a son, James, Bath; and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Shelter, Copley." Richard served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Richard is son of Fred Crosier (1873-1956) and Eva Beardsley. Richard and Elizabeth had James L. Crosier (b. Sept. 9, 1944 at Akron, OH; never married; r. 1313 Ritchie St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44224). Elizabeth m. (2) Jan. 30, 1971 at Bath, OH Almon D. Lyman and r. 4005 Bath Rd., Akron, OH 44313.
