[13739] "The Daily Item [Sunbury, PA], 5 February 1976," p. 8: "Mrs. Mildred Seiler Ramer, 67, a lifelong resident of the Klingerstown RD area, died Wednesday at noon in the Geisinger Medical Center , Danville, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. Mrs. Ramer, who attended Upper Mahantango area schools, was a graduate of Shamokin Area High School in 1928. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ, Klingerstown RD, the women's guild of the church and Central Valley Council 200, Daughters of America. In 1928 she married Fred Ramer, who survives. Born Dec. 4, 1908, in Upper Mahantango Township, Klingertown RD, she was a daughter of the late James and Marry Wetzel Seiler. Survivors in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. June Kauffman of Shamokin Dam; three granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Nora Neugard of Pitman. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Salem United Church of Christ, Klingerstown RD, with the Rev. Elden Ehrhatt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery."
