Born June 19, 1942, son of the late Donald E. Sr. and Elizabeth J. (Anderson) Tibbitts. David was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was a man of tremendous work ethic, great integrity, unselfish generosity, 'Jack of ALL trades', and had a wonderful sense of humor (very quick witted) for all occasions. A retiree of Great Northern Paper Company after 38 1/2 years of employment. After retirement, he continued to hold numerous part-time jobs working with the public fulfilling his love of interacting with people. A true pride of David's was being a member of the Provost Guard with the Anah Temple Shriners. He was predeceased by his Father amd Mother Donald and Elizabeth Tibbitts; Father-in-Law Bexton Seamans; and a Brother-in-law Steven Seamans. David is survived by his wife of 53 years Sandra D. (Seamans) Tibbitts; two children Daughter Becky D. (Tibbitts) Doughty and her husband Paul of Gorham, ME and Son Lonnie W. Tibbitts and his partner Robin Moore of Wildwood, FL; three grandchildren Sarah and Ryan Doughty and Isabella Tibbitts who greatly adored their grandfather. He is also survived by a Brother Donald Tibbitts, Jr. and wife Jeannie; Sisters Nancy Goodall and Susan Wilson; Sisters-in-law Earlene Andrick and husband Paul, and Sue Seamans all of Millinocket, ME; Brothers-in-law Dennis Seamans and wife Susan of Spartanburg, SC, and Roger Seamans and wife Donna; and Mother-in-Law Bernice Nickerson all of Millinocket, ME. Several nieces and nephews that all held a very special place in his heart. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs Amos and Benji and cat Charlie."
