He was the son of Daniel and Mary Klopp, and was born in North Heidelberg township. He was a farmer near Klopp's Store for many years and was school director many years. He was a director of St. Thomas Reformed Church, Bernville. He is survived by two sons, Irvln D., West Reading, and Edward J., Reading; three daughters, Mrs. John Wagner, Reading; Mrs. Jacob Lelnbach, West Reading, and Mrs. Emma Fox, Mt. Zlon, Lebanon county; two sisters, Mrs. Nathan Dohdore, Reading, and Mrs. Sarah Heck, Reading; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren."
