[21559] See alternate parents! Thomas and wife Jemima were in Columbiana Co., OH by 1812 and then in Wayne Co., OH by 1816. Janet Sweet (Sweetjanet@aol.com in 2002) believes Thomas' parents are Andrew Milbourn (b. ca. 1736 in Hunterdon, Burlington Co., NJ) and wife Mary Thomas; she believes Andrew is son of John Milbourne (b. ca. 1705 in Burlington Co., NJ and Elizabeth Chapman). She writes: "I show that John was son of another Andrew Milbourne b. about 1661 in Somerset, England and wife Sarah. I show this Andrew was son of a William Milbourne and William was son of Luke Milbourne. These folks seem to have been Quakers." Ancestry.com offers: "Milbourne Name Meaning - English: habitational name from places in Northumbria and Wiltshire, named in Old English as 'mill stream' (see Milburn)."
