[11401] In 2007 http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/HUNGARY.htm offers: "Anna (Prague 23 Jul 1503-Prague 27 Jan 1547, bur Prague St Veit). Her betrothal was agreed to seal her father's second agreement with Emperor Maximilian in [1506] regarding the eventual Habsburg succession to the Hungarian throne[819]. - m (Linz 27 May 1526) Ferdinand I Archduke of Austria, son of Philipp Archduke of Austria, Felipa I King of Castile & his wife doña Juana "la Loca" de Castilla y Aragón Queen of Castile (Alcalá de Henares, near Madrid 10 Mar 1503-Vienna 25 Jul 1564, bur Prague St Veit). After Lajos II King of Hungary was killed in battle at Mohács in Aug 1526, Jan Zápolya was acclaimed as king of Hungary in Oct 1526 at Tokaj and again in Nov 1526 by a Hungarian assembly in Székesfehérvár. A rival assembly held by the Frankapan family at Cetin elected Archduke Ferdinand as Ferdinand King of Hungary at Pressburg 17 Dec 1526 and at Ofen 7 Oct 1527, crowned 3 Nov 1527 at Székesfehérvár. He was also elected Ferdinand I King of Bohemia at Prague 23 Oct 1526, crowned 24 Feb 1527 at Prague St Veit. Civil war followed in Hungary, King János was forced to flee temporarily to Poland but returned with Turkish help. Unable to establish his position completely, he agreed to divide Hungary with King Ferdinánd, the division being accepted by János's ally Sultan Suleiman in return for an oath of allegiance and payment of a large cash tribute. A compromise was mediated between the two claimants in 1538 at Várad under which each recognised the other's title, and King János agreed that King Ferdinand should inherit the whole kingdom should he die without a male heir. He was elected as Ferdinand I King of Germany at Köln 5 Jan 1531, crowned 11 Jan 1531 at Aachen. On the death of King János in 1540, his supporters recognised his infant son as king of Hungary. King Ferdinánd sent an army against Buda, but Sultan Suleiman occupied Buda himself in Aug 1541, recognised János II as king under Ottoman suzerainty, and incorporated a large expanse of territory in the centre of Hungary into the Ottoman Empire. In 1547, King Ferdinánd concluded a truce with the Sultan under which the latter recognised him as 'de facto' ruler in those parts of Hungary which he then held, in return for payment of an annual tribute. In 1551, after Regent Isabella was persuaded on behalf of her son to renounce his claims to Hungary in return for a duchy in Silesia, King Ferdinánd occupied Transylvania, although Isabella and her son were reinstated in 1566 after the Ottomans counter-attacked. He was crowned Emperor Ferdinand I at Frankfurt-am-Main 14 Mar 1558. After his death, the crown of Hungary passed to his successors in the House of Habsburg who were elected as kings of Hungary in addition to Archdukes of Austria and Emperors."

Barbara Fleming's Genealogy at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~barbpretz/ps04/ps04_082.html offers: "She was "coheir of her father".
"Margaret (Hyde) Mohun, mother of nine sons and eight daughters, was probably born about 1523, instead of about 1513, as the inscription on the brass indicates; for in the Chancery case of Symonds v. Moone she deposed on 9 Aug. 1593, aged 70 years. Another reason for believing that she was born later than 1513 is the fact that on 1 Sept. 1578, when her husband made his will, three of their daughters, Mary, Joan, and Margaret, were under twenty-one."
"From Chancery Proceedings [Moone v. sidways and Pitt]: Bill of Margaret Moone widow, late the wife of Robert Moone late of Baunton, Dorset, gnet., deceased, his executrix,
Whereas about 10 years ago her husband mortgaged to Thomas Hardye gent. the rectory and parsonage of Chalden, co. Dorset, for a sum not repayed within the limited term because her husband became senseless from sickness, and afterwards the mortgage was assigned to Henry Pytt of 'Weymouth Melcombe Regis,' co. Dorset, merchant, who married a daughter of Robert Moone and the plaintiff; about 8 years ago, being desirous to settle matter for her husband, the plaintiff found that he was endebted to Henry Pytt for 340 pounds for the said mortgage, his daughter's marriage-portion and other matters. Whereupon she paid 70 pounds and had assurances made for the rest, including a bond by Richard Sydwaye gent., who had married another daughter, together with Gilbert Holman. Sydwaye received the lease, and, after her husband's death, an additional bond from the plaintiff. Pytt has not been fully satisfied by the plaintiff, yet by confederacy with Sydwaye, he is bringing suits against him to recover more money from plaintiff upon both the bonds."

[27] Probably son of Aaron McFann of Lancaster (city), PA (1810 & 1820 census); Aaron's father was probably Nathanial McFann (1800 census, Martik Twp., Lancaster Co., PA). Nathaniel moved to East Union Twp., Wayne Co., Ohio ca. 1838; the only land he owned in Ohio was purchased 21 Aug 1838 in the NE portion of East Union Twp., about 3 miles south of Orrville. The date of death is from his tombstone. Richard Hughes shared via email 30 July 2003: "I find that the 1820 will of Jean Sergent, mother of Sarah (Sally) Sergent, grandmother of Nathaniel McFann and Caleb McFann, states the she is from Martic twp and that the property she leaves is in Martic twp. The 1810 census shows that William McFann is in Martic twp. while Aaron McFann has moved to Lancaster City. Aaron McFann is still in Lancaster City in the 1820 census with a wife. Therefore Sally McFann is the wife of William."
