Lloyd 'Josh' Ritzman, 99, of Locust Grove Retirement Village, HC 67, Mifflin, and formerly of Port Royal RR3, died at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 1997, at Locust Grove. Born May 9, 1897, in Turbett Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late William P. and Carrie A. [Wise] Ritzman. His wife, Mary M. [Kepner] Ritzman, died April 15, 1976. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. Elmer L. Ritzman and W. Book Ritzman and a sister, Jessie W. Ritzman. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Port Royal Presbyterian Church, was an 84-year member of Turbett Grange No. 791, a member of Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association and a member of the Advisory Board of Juniata Valley Bank, Port Royal, for many years."
