In addition, Edward and Rosanna are buried at the North Star Cemetery, in North Star, MI. Edward's parents, listed in his marriage record, are L. F. Nelson and T. M. Wilson. Edward r. Lansing, MI at the time of the 1910 federal census which lists him as an employee of a carpet store. "Lansing State Journal, 16 January 1943," p. 5: "Edward Lyman Nelson, 54. died at the home, 118 Allen street Friday: He is survived by the widow, Anna; two sons. Kenneth and Harold, L., of Lansing; a daughter. Mrs. Leon a R. Gilbert of Pontiac; three grandchildren; a brother. Frank Nelson of Alma, and a sister, Mrs. Leona Henry of North Star. Mr. Nelson had been in the coal and gasoline business in Lansing for the past 25 years, and was a member of the South Street Church of God. . . . Interment will be at North Star."

The unverified Christy Deiter Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2016 offers: "When Carrie Blanche Stiely was born on July 17, 1905, in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, her father, Donald, was 40 and her mother, Alice, was 36. She married Elmer Jacob Shade on March 18, 1922, in Elizabethville, Pennsylvania. . . . She died on November 18, 1998, in Gratz, Pennsylvania, at the age of 93, and was buried there."
