[30528] http://www.thepeerage.com reports " Isabel Booth was the daughter of Sir Roger Booth and Catherine Hatton." Ancestry.com offers: "Booth Name Meaning - Northern English and Scottish: topographic name for someone who lived in a small hut or bothy, Middle English both(e), especially a cowman or shepherd. The word is of Scandinavian origin (compare Old Danish both, Old Norse buð) and was used to denote various kinds of temporary shelter, typically a cowshed or a herdsman's hut. In the British Isles the surname is still more common in northern England, where Scandinavian influence was more marked, and in Scotland, where the word was borrowed into Gaelic as both(an)."

Throughout her life Mrs. Belknap was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Oak Park and the Nineteenth Century Women's Club, of which she was a past president. She was a member of the board of the YMCA in Chicago for a number of years, as well as an active participant in the International Relations Council of Oak Park. Mrs. Belknap was married to Ernest B. Tomlinson from 1914 until his death in 1953. She later was married to Allen P. Belknap from 1971 until his death in 1974. Mrs. Belknap is survived by her son, Willis H. Tomlinson, her daughter, Mrs. Eugene H. Worcester both of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Mrs. Charles O. Sethness of New York, N.Y., John T. Worcester of San Diego, Cal., and Charles E. Worcester of Boston; and two great-grandchildren, Peter W. Sethness of New York, N.Y., and Hadley Worcester of San Diego."

[1565] Luxembourg became an independent entity in 963 under Siegfried, Count of Ardenne {-Encyc.Brit.,'56,14:502}. W.H.Turton, "The Plantagenet Ancestry" (Balt.:Gen.Pub.Co.,1968), p. 172, 181, gives descent from him through Thibault I, Count of Bar-Le-Duc [ID4483]; Turton gives Siegfried's wife as Edith of Longwy (Edith = Hedwig). Siegfried was Count, 965-998. Siegfried may be son of Voiry ("Wigerie"), Count D'Ardennes, instead of son of Ricuinus - see http://www.mathematical.com/luxembourgsiegfried918.html and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siegfried_I_of_Luxembourg.
