[25812] His descendant, Bryan Edwin Dean, AKA Peter-John Parisis, (who provided this line) reports: "Daniel Tourneur was a French Huguenot who had taken up refuge in Holland due to religious sake [sic] and became one of the original members to whom the Corporation of New Amsterdam issued patents for land in Harlem, New York." The unverified file in One World Tree (Ancestry.com) in 2007 states Daniel is son of Etienne Tourneur (b. 1580 in Amiens, d. ca. 1626 in France) and Marie Berger (b. 1584 in Amiens, d. ca. 1626, m. 18 July 1605 in Pas-de-Calais, Guinecourt, France).
