[46070] "The Morning Herald [Uniontown, PA], 7 October 1929," p. 3: "John H. M. Wood, for many years one of Dawson's blacksmiths, died Saturday morning. October 5, 1929, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Wood was the son of Louis and Ruth Wood and lived in Dawson more than twenty years. He was born Mav 7, 1855. His wife Lyda Holland Wood preceded him In death eight years ago. Surviving are four children: Mrs. Ceorge Rutter and Wilbur H. Wood of Connellsvllle, Harry J. Wood of Uniontown and George M. Wood of McClellandtown. Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive."
