He was born in Brooksville, Jan. 16, 1891 the son of Eugene S. and Maud (Blodgett) Snow. Mr. Snow went to sea on coastal schooners in his early years and was a carpenter and cabinet maker in the Brooksville, Bucksport, Bangor and Brewer areas for many years. He was a member of the Rainbow Grange of North Brooksville and skippered for many years in the retired skippers race, Casine, having last raced as the oldest skipper in 1981. He was predeceased by his wife, Bernice (Gray) Snow, in 1965. Mr. Snow is survived by one son, I. Frank Snow of Brooksville; two daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Nettie) Leach of Penobscot, Mrs. James (Evangeline) Peasley, Sr. of Brooksville one brother, Harvey Snow, one sister, Mrs. Inez Fogg, both of Belfast; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews."
