She was born May 22, 1939, in Castine, the daughter of Harland W. and Ella M. (Howard) Leach. Cynthia had a special love of family and took great joy in her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her dearest friend, Martha Fellows of Bucksport; her children, Marcia Simmons and husband, Edward, of Readfield, Janet Frake of Winthrop, Dennis Walls and wife, Kimberly, of Orrington and Lisa Walls of Bucksport; 10 grandchildren, Jacob Simmons, Casey Simmons, Jason Frake, Jacquelyn Draper, John Frake, James Frake, Meagan Somes, Matthew Sargent, Samuel Walls and Vanessa Boyce; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harland Leach and wife, Janice, of Bucksport; one sister, Rosemary Pease of Bucksport; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Cynthia was predeceased by one sister, Patricia Leach."
