"Shamokin News-Dispatch, 10 January 1936," p. 11: "David A. Gottshall, 89; died at the family residence at Sunbury following an illness of several weeks. Mr. Gottshall was a son of the late David A. and Lydia Gottshall and was born at Seven Points, where he resided many years, engaging as a carpenter during his active career. He is survived by two children and seven grandchildren. The funeral is to be held from the Rogers funeral parlors at Sunbury at 2:00 Saturday afternoon. Six grandsons will officiate as bearers at the burial."
