[49228] Myrtle is daughter of James Marion Bond (1838-1920) & Mary Elizabeth Miller (1853-1931).
[9130] "The Akron Beacon Journal, 13 October 1978," p. 34: "Estelle M. Hershiser, 79, of 3060 Hudson Dr., Cuyahoga Falls, died at Akron City Hospital, Oct. 12. Born in Michigan, she had lived in this area all her life. She had been in the hospital for ten days. She is survived by son, William A., of Kent; two grandchildren." Her husband and his brother worked for the D. P. W. Paint and Wallpaper Store on East Mill Street, Akron, OH. Ancestry.com offers: "Cole Name Meaning - English: from a Middle English pet form of Nicholas. English: from a Middle English personal name derived from the Old English byname Cola (from col '(char)coal', presumably denoting someone of swarthy appearance), or the Old Norse cognate Koli. Scottish and Irish: when not of English origin, this is a reduced and altered form of McCool. In some cases, particularly in New England, Cole is a translation of the French surname Charbonneau. Probably an Americanized spelling of German Kohl."

[22245] Her sister, Nancy (radnad@myexcel.com), shared in 2003: "My sister Ruth had 5 children - David, Louise, Paul, Lee, and Glenn. I do not know much about them or their families. I am close to Paul, who lives in Colorado and know that he is retired from the Air Force, unmarried, and works as a defense contractor. My sister was 19 when I was born. Her sons were like brothers to me, but we all went our different directions after high school. I was in the Air Force. Lee and Paul went to the Air Force. Glenn was the youngest and I didn't know him well. Louise got brain fever at age 3 and has been institutionalized at Selinsgrove Mental Health facility most of her life. She does not know anyone and must be taken care of by around the clock nursing care. I don't even know if she is still living or not. My oldest nephew, David, lives on Wertzville Rd in Carlisle, PA and took over as head of the family when his father died."

[55832] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 20 February 2024: "Bar Harbor and Bangor - Ruth A. Bracy, 93 and 4 months old, died unexpectedly, after a brief illness, January 20, 2024, at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born October 28, 1930, in Winn, ME, the daughter of Herbert Grant and Ella Perkins. Ruth was a loving mother, wife and homemaker, who lived in Bar Harbor and Bangor, with her husband, Karl, for many years as they raised their 3 children. She enjoyed cooking and at 92 she was still making homemade banana bread and mac and cheese which was amazing. Ruth loved to read a good book and watch CNN. Ruth also loved to spend time with her loved ones and visits from the fur babies. Ruth spent her past few years with her second family enjoying BBQ's, holidays, many long shopping trips and going out to dinner. Ruth enjoyed living her life to the fullest every day and was always smiling. Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband, Karl Bracy; her daughter, Joann Smith; and her son, Michael Bracy. She is survived by son, Bob Bracy. Mama Ruthie (lovingly known by the Whitney family) will be greatly missed by Kathy, Gloria, Bob, Robbie, Barbara, Eric, Heather, Stephenie and Nicholas."
