Surviving are his wife, Miriam C. Hepler; two daughters, Evelyn Wheeler of Dauphin, and Ruth Palomba of Duncannon; a son, George W. III of Dauphin; two sisters, Eleanor DeJoseph of Rosemont, and Ruth Dean of Hinsdale, Ill.; a brother, Dr. John C. of Green Valley, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren."
