Willey, 92, died Friday evening at a Jonesport nursing home following a long illness. She was born at Cherryfield on Jan. 3, 1877, the daughter of William and Sarah (Harrington) Brooks. She was a life-long resident of Cherryfield. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Marion) Morse and Mrs. Ara (Myrtle) Foster, both of Cherryfield and Mrs. Carl (Mona) Nan Kenbis of Franklin; a son, Roger K. Willey of Cherryfield; a brother, James R. Brooks of Cherryfield; 19 grandchildren; 45 geat-gandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins. Private funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ara Foster, with the Rev. John Mingus, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Willey cemetery in Cherryfield."
