[35639] This person is from the unverified Stacey Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2013. Did he really marry on his birthday? The Genealogical and Family History of the State of Maine, (1909), p. 12 offers: "Coronet Peter fourth son of John and Hannah Ayer was born 1633, perhaps in England, and was a freeman in Haverhill in 1666. He was a farmer, member of general court 1683-85-89-90, and active in town affairs and the Indian wars." Cf. A posting in Ancestry.com in 2013 offers: He was born in England in 1632. He married, Oct. 8 (o. Nov. 1), 1659, Hannah Allen (daughter of William Allen). He died at Boston Jan. 3, 1699. Freeman, 1666. Representative, 1683. 5, 9 and 10. He was a farmer and possessed considerable estate. In 1670 he was one of a committee to build a school house, and in 1675 a committeeman to designate what Haverhill houses should be garrisoned against the Indians. Feb. 17, 1692, his servant Richard Paseley [sic] died. Cornet in the military forces.
