She was a member of Grant Memorial United Methodist Church of Presque Isle. She was a gold star mom. Prior to her last 9 years in the nursing home, she spent her life being a mom and grammy to her children and grandchildren, and was fondly known as mom and grammy to many neighbors and friends of the family. She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Ellsworth Dyer, sons, Ellsworth in 1944, during WWII, Donald in 1995, Bernard in 1996 and Alden in 1999. Surviving are 6 daughters, Bridie Doak, Madeline Haley and her husband, Linwood, Sheila Bonville and her husband, David all of Presque Isle, Christine Moore and her husband Frank of Castle Rock, CO., Marion Brayall of Central Falls, RI., and Myrtle Pelullo and her husband, Robert of Fitchburg, MA., also surviving are 3 sons, Elwood Dyer and his wife Pauline, Dennis Dyer and his wife Charlotte all of Presque Isle, Robert Dyer and his wife Phyllis of Marengo, IND. Besides her children, Lovina had 51 grandchildren,95 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. Burial at Fairmount cemetery."

Funeral services were held on Tuesday for Mrs. Sarah Hollenbaugh who died last Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Peterson, at Lewistown, with burial In the Stony Point Cemetery, three miles north of Blaln, the Rev. L. E. Teter of Elliottsburg officiating. Mrs. Hollenbaugh was a daughter of the late John and Mary Kochenderfer Yohn and was born in Perry County, at Pine Grove. Her husband, David Hollenbaugh died fourteen years ago. She is survived by six children, namely: Mrs. George Peterson, of Lewistown; Mrs. Jacob Meyers, of Newport; Charles Hollenbaugh, of Buck's Valley; Martin Hollenbaugh, of Camden, N. J.; John Hollenbaugh, of Lewistown and Mrs. William Rodgers of Oklahoma and by one sister, Mrs. James Yohn, of Spruce Hill; Juniata County and one brother, James Yohn, of Carlisle."
