He married Lydia Clark on 6 July 1800, in Harlem, Kennebec, Maine, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in China, Kennebec, Maine, United States in 1830 and Crystal, Aroostook, Maine, United States in 1840. He registered for military service in 1781. He died on 6 May 1846, in Patten, Penobscot, Maine, United States, at the age of 86, and was buried in Patten Cemetery, Patten, Penobscot, Maine, United States."
