[48847] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, ME], 17 December 2013": "Southwest Harbor - Mary Augusta 'Gussie' Grindle Dunbar, 86, died peacefully on Dec. 14, 2013, at Sonogee. She was born on Sept. 15, 1927, in Mount Desert, to Robert L. and Marion (Driscoll) Grindle. Gussie made her home for many years with her grandparents, Dr. J. Lowell Grindle and Grace Grindle, attending schools in Northeast Harbor and South Portland, graduating from Gilman High in Northeast Harbor and later attending Farmington State Teachers College for a while. She then returned to Northeast to care for her grandparents. She worked for Dr. Charity Weymouth for five years and Dr. Chai for two years at the Jackson Laboratory. While working at the lab she met and married Charles Dunbar of Southwest Harbor. She worked for Pemetic School for 21 years as a teachers aid, loving all the children. She spent her summer vacations at home for a good many years baking bread for local markets in and out of town daily, as well as pies. She was a member of the MDI Lioness Club and the Southwest Harbor American Legion Auxiliary. She was raised a member of St. Marys by the Sea in Northeast Harbor. She was a people person, and loved to dance - a lot! She had a lot of close friends that she kept in contact with. She leaves many close friends and a particularly close friend, Joan Terry, of Southwest Harbor who was like a sister to her. She is survived by two sons, J. Lowell Dunbar and wife, Naomi Dunbar, of Gouldsboro Point, and Daniel D. Dunbar and wife, Florence Dunbar, of Southwest Harbor. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Perry, Amanda, Brittany, and Dylan of Gouldsboro Point as well as Jesse D., and Benjamin D. Dunbar of Southwest Harbor. In addition, she had three great-grandchildren and is survived by a brother, Robert J. Grindle and his wife, Ruth, and family of Bryson City, N.C. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charlie; as well as her brother, Edward L. Grindle of South Portland."

Their daughter is Hannah Randall who married Jacob Dunbar." See "A Biographical History of Robert Randall and His Descendants 1608- 1909," William L. Chaffin (New York, NY: The Grafton Press, 1909), pp. 12-13, 17-18.
