He was predeceased by one son, Russell, in 1987, and by four brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his wife, Annie; one son, Paul Linscott of Ellsworth; one daughter, Shirley Garceau of Brewer; one daughter-in-law, Charlotte Linscott of Bar Harbor; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary and Than Fickett of Milbridge, and Kathlyn Bridges of Hancock; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Hazel Linscott of Ellsworth; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins."
