Sanderson, who died suddenly from a complication of diseases, was buried from her late home, 617 Camp street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. A. M. Stamets, pastor of the Augsburg Lutheran Church. Interment was made in the East Harrisburg cemetery."
[52647] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 27 May 1950, p. 2: "Milford, May 26 - Garnett Hall, 33, resident of this community for the past four years, died today in a Bangor hospital after several weeks' illness. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ottye Hall of Newtown, he was born in that town Oct. 28, 1916. He had made his home from childhood with an uncle, Herbert Hall of Orono, and was graduated from Orono High school. He was a member of the Orono Methodist church. During the war he was employed civil service at Presque Isle Air base. At the time of his death he was employed by the Penobscot Auto Wrecking company, Orono. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara Mayhew Hall, and four children, Ronald, Linda, Ruth Ann and Patricia all of Milford; two brothers, Richard Hall of New Brunswick, Can., and Basil of Nova Scotia; one sister, Mrs. John Berry of Portland; and his uncle, Herbert Hall, of Orono." Garnett is son of Herbert Byron Hall (b. in 1879) & Agnes Ruth Marr (b. in 1882; m. 3 April 1909 in Brewer, Penobscot Co., ME).

Charles and Gertrude adopted Howard M Shadle ( age 11 in the 1900 federal census). "The Standard [Lykens, Pennsylvania], 13 April 1923" p. 1: "Charles Hartman, aged 67 years, one of Tower City's best known and most highly respected citizens died suddenly Wednesday morning at 7:30 o'clock at his home, 117 Grand Ave., while seated at the table eating breakfast. Death being due to heart failure. At the time of his death he held the office of borough supervisor. Fraternally he was a member of the Knights of Golden Eagle. To survive is an only sister, Mrs. Mary Phillips, formerly of Williamstown, who has been making her home with him since the death of his wife several years ago. His funeral will take place Saturday morning, 10 o'clock with services at the house by the Rev. Chas. Slinghoff. Burial will be made in McAllister's cemetery in Clark's Valley."
